Joanna Duncan RTS ARAD Solo Seal
A Registered Teacher of The Royal Academy of Dance, a member of the International Dance Council UNESCO, Paris, Joanna has over 25 years experience teaching.
She trained with renowned Ballet Teacher Lorraine Norton in Sydney Australia gaining all her Royal Academy of Dance Classical Ballet Examinations Levels from Primary, up to and including the coveted Solo Seal Award, the highest award of the Royal Academy of Dance at age 15 , to date the youngest Dancer in the world. Joanna was offered a place at the NYC School of American Ballet SAB at age 14 by, then NYC Ballet Director, Edward Villella. After a successful Ballet Career as Principal dancer from age 16 with The Tasmanian Ballet, and offered contracts with Ballet Victoria and Dance Europe Ballet Companies, Joanna also performed with The Carol Burnett Show, NBC Universal and Disney production tours. Joanna turned her passion to teaching.
Joanna received her Vaganova Teacher Training through Mischa Slavensky and studied the Vaganova Core Level training 1 thru 8 through Peggy Willis Arnio. As vice president of the Society of Dance Arts Joanna worked alongside Yuri Grigorovich, the Director of Bolshoi Ballet Company, arranging Classical Ballet Students training Seminars with stars of the Bolshoi Ballet Company including Natalia Besmetnova.
Dancers trained by Joanna have performed with many world renowned companies including Royal Ballet Company, American Ballet Theater, Hamburg Ballet, English National Ballet Company, Australian Ballet Company, Hybrid Movement Company, Gyor Ballet Company Hungary, Zurich Ballet, American Ballet Theater, Christopher Harrisons Anti Gravity, Acroback, Cirque du Soleil, and more, also Film and Television including Moulin Rouge, Strictly Ballroom, Chicago, NBC SMASH, and more.
Joanna is also owner of Danceartists Management www.danceartistsmanagement.com established in 2007 to promote performance Artists career placement.
Galina began her training in Moscow, Russian with former Bolshoi Ballet dancers at the Gymnasium No. 1504. After immigrating to the United States, she continued her studies with Joanna Duncan and Irina Vakromeeva. Galina received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet Performance and Education from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati.
She has performed with Kentucky Ballet Theater and Ballet Theater Midwest under the direction of Daniel Simmons and Nancy Fountain.
Aside from her passion for ballet, Galina is also an accomplished Violinist. Galina also teaches the Advanced Upper Level Ballet classes at Amherst Ballet.
As part of Danceartist’s Faculty, Galina brings her wealth of expertise in the coaching of set Classical Ballet Variations from the great Ballet’s.

Françoise N Voranger

Françoise trained on full scholarship at The Royal Ballet Upper School UK- She holds the distinguished honor of performing at the Gala of the Stars Benois de la Danse at Bolshoi Theater Moscow, Russia 2013 in Ann Marie De Angelo's Last Time I Cry.
Françoise has performed with The Royal Ballet, London, Australian Ballet, Hamburg Ballet, Ballet NY, Anti Gravity, the Royal Gala London among many others.
As a co-Creative Director of Little Cinema Immersive Shows with Jay Rinsky awarded the 2017 Best of New York in New York Magazine.
A 2014 EACP STREB Awardee, Françoise's choreographic works are reknowned for their ability to touch the heart to search or reveal, and have been performed at City Center NY, Lincoln Center, Bolshoi Ballet Theater Moscow, NYC SummerStage, New Victory Theater New 42nd Street, LaMama, Hanover Theater, across the world from Australia's Sydney Opera House to Japan, Germany, Russia.
Françoise is the creator of the Movement as Metaphor Aerial Acrobatic Summer Intensives and Workshops leading a superlative faculty. Francoise's Mapping Installations projects include MoFE - Museum of Future Experiences - Andy Warhol's old Studio in Soho, Manhattan.
Heather Christiansen - Martha Graham Technique
Heather came to New York on full scholarship to the Ailey School after finishing two years as a trainee at Joffrey Chicago. From there, she spent two years in Graham II, performing roles such as Lamentation and the Shaman in excerpts from Night Chant. She has performed works by Martha Graham and Alvin Ailey at New York City Center, the Joyce, and BAM. She performs with Hybrid Movement Company and freelances all over New York. Heather teaches Martha Graham Technique at Danceartists.
Tina Marshall RTS
Tina has trained in the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) from the age of 3 years, completing examination levels Pre-Primary to Advanced 2. She enjoyed being part of numerous dance competitions and small touring productions as a child.
Her love for ballet and contemporary dance continued at the university level where she studied a Bachelor of Creative Industries (Dance)/Bachelor of Education (Secondary - English). With this achievement, Tina taught Dance as an elective subject for 7 years in Australian High Schools. Missing the technique of syllabus work, Tina went back to study the Royal Academy of Dance Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS) allowing her the privilege to teach using the RAD approach.
Tina developed a strong relationship with staff and students in her teaching and worked to achieve a lead ballet teacher for prominent local studio. After having her own children, Tina saw the need for developing programs for toddlers and pre-schoolers and this is where her passion lies. Tina teaches the Toddlers and pre school Ballet program at Danceartists.
Scott Duncan - Danceartists Administrator

In his early years, Scott volunteered and then worked at nursing homes and hospitals on the North Shore of Massachusetts as well as working as a Teacher's Assistant in the Massachusetts School System. After switching to automotive mechanics, Scott served in the U.S. Air Force for eight years specializing in turbo propulsion and worldwide mobility logistics. Upon returning home he began a career in Information Technology. Scott's education also includes drama and communication, music theory and performance. In his spare time he enjoys writing music and recording using Cubase. Scott is a multi-instrumentalist and plays keyboard, guitar, banjo, bass, and drums. Scott teaches the Music as Applied to Dance Course at Danceartists.
